The sun warms my face. I’m slowly resurfacing after yesterday’s return from my business trip overseas. I made it: I’m finally back in the comfort of my new home! I step briefly onto the balcony and look out over the Rhine, which today seems to sparkle in the morning sun. No more coffee capsules? No problem. I can take the lift down to the bistro and enjoy a coffee there. Or maybe a coffee with a view of the Rhine? Then it’s straight to the Chez Jeannot restaurant, just a 5-minute walk away. 

I was planning to shop at one of the neighborhood markets (Breite or Wettsteinmarkt, depending on the day of the week) or at the larger Dreispitz, just a stone’s throw away. But I can put it off for a bit. The Mobility vehicle-share car I have booked down in the underground car park can wait a little longer. I’ve got time.”
